Immich Memories
Turn your Immich photos and videos into memory films. Pick a month, a year, a trip or a person, review the cut, then render with titles and music.
A sample trip film, using credited CC0 photographs. The map is an optional feature.
Start with one month
You need an existing Immich library, its API key, and a machine with Docker. A plain NAS can make the whole film; a GPU is optional.
Install it, then make your first film. You get to review every shot before rendering.
How it chooses
It groups your library into stories, gives the busy days and people who matter more room, and picks shots in the order they happened. Favourites help. Videos can carry a moment better than a still. Thin periods make shorter films.
You can remove a shot, swap it, trim a video or add a missing picture. How it chooses explains the general idea; improve a cut shows where your choices win.
Your library stays yours
The default install processes pictures locally and talks to your Immich server. It has no telemetry. It uploads the finished film only when you ask. Downloading the app and its pinned models needs internet access; optional maps, readers and remote services have their own privacy settings.
